So I didn't get on the show, but I attended the other day and was quite blown away by some of the talent! Everyone will get their time and some of these truly deserved it! One of my gorge friends Emily Smith did a beaut black lace collection which I loved... So pround of u beau! Also a fave was Ashley Edge from Fashion & Contour who opened the show with a fantastic futuristic collection which lit up in blue piped lights. In absolute awe!

Great week ahead! Just did an amazing photoshoot with the very talented Ali Lomas, model and photographer, she has a gorgeous feminine style about her that really matches my vision so collaborating with her on the two collections we shot was just ideal! A very interesting day out in Stratford Upon Avon! A big thankyou to luxury 4* The Arden Hotel http://www.theardenhotelstratford.com/ for giving us a complimentary room and a gorgeous garden location for shooting.

Also a big congrats to my gorgeous boyfriend who has just secured himself a contract with the well known international modelling agency AMCK models! I knew he would make it the first time i set my eyes on him! So very excited for him! AMCKmodels.com

My next shoot will hoepfully be with another very talented photographer, whom I won't disclose yet, but he has been such an inspiration to me and its going to be a huge honour to work with him! Look out for my update =)x

Lingerie Insight, a top industry magazine, has collaborated with The Lingerie Collective to offer one student a chance to exhibit with the group of luxury lingerie designers at the tradeshow in July. How super exciting! Well after a fight with two heavy suitcases of final collection work which I was only allowed to pick up today in time for the last day of entry, rushed home to snap up some photos and sent off my application. I suppose it would be a bonus to get picked but its great for me to be able to finally enter competitions now I've finished uni. This is the first one so far so I'm excited for feedback.

Busy Hectic Crazy week!

To start off the week, I was designing logos, layouts and uniforms for a new bubble tea shop opening this summer in Manchester... it's gonna be big so watch out! Bringing the quirky,fun and cute Japanese lifestyle over. UK needs abit of livening up! We can only take so much frappucinos (& calories!)every summer!

Next I've been busy with meetings with the pastor of my mum's church who's tying the knot this september-finally! Very shocked at the news but feel super honoured to be asked to design the veil to compliment her dress. Stay posted to see the finished piece! Very inspired by the late Royal wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! Ohh she looked stunning...

Also through the week, I've been busy planning shoots for the weekend which will be very exciting to be working with a wide range of creatives to create some lovely lookbooks and portfollio pieces. More details and pictures of the shoots to follow.

As if that was not enough, I have also been packing all week to prepare for my move to the boy's place. I am sat next to now what resembles a jumble sale, the contents of my room waiting for me to unpack it ugh! Needing something interesting in the background to keep me going so I might do some catchup on ITV player...

Suite 143 - Spring Summer 2012

Finally finished! photos still need editing, and now arranging photoshoots and various collabs. exciting stuff!There is much more to come, but here is a sneak peak.

Spring Summer 2012 "Suite 143"

Inspired by the era of luxury travel 1885, Paris.

Studies into Vintage Louis Vuitton wardrobe trunks, Royal palace interiors and French aristocratic dress of the late 1800 by Charles Worth.

Colours of the collection are mink liqueur, vintage champagne and Empress blush. Every piece is has a royal red silk satin interior and embellished with hand-crystallised Swarovski Chantilly lace.

This is a high-end designer boudoir lingerie collection with pieces that can be mix and matched to compliment sheer blouses and vests for an alluring, midnight sparkle styling.

Final Collection Update

Not posted in a while due to immense amount of work pressure. Headache from ordering and dealing with companies...final major project is actually a good starting point to teach you on management qualities and organisational skills. I've not only had to research, design and develop a lingerie collection, but also going to shows (Salon International, Moda) and ordering trims, fabric, crystals, laser cutting, technical and market research into where I would like my brand to be placed etc. There's so much going on at the moment that if I weren't actually planning to start up a business, would be so much wasted efforts! Well over the easter, I've done quite alot, with my silk chiffon arriving from France, Chatilly lace from london, and Swarovski crystals from America, and laser cutting just finished last week, I'm all set up for churning out the collection. I've been busy lately crystallising my lace which is slowly taking shape and looking pretty sparkly =) Photos will be put up once collection is complete as its all under wraps atm!

I've spent the last 3 days working on illustrator...What a fustrating task! finally getting the hang of creating more and more professional technical drawings but its taking round the clock hours to complete front, back and coloured versions of my 17 piece collection! argh!
